This was a very special project to create. "Home" is a personal children's book about my adventures growing up in Australia. I spent seven years there (2010-2017). I have so many dear memories and sentiments from my time there, and I wanted to capture the magic, joy, uncertainty, and whimsy.
I went through the whole process of writing, storyboarding, designing, and illustrating. I hope to have this published one day! I created my illustrations using gouache, Procreate, and Adobe Photoshop

This children’s picture book follows a young girl named Ella who has just traveled to a new country, Sydney, Australia. This book can help kids in similar situations regarding change, moving, or stepping outside their comfort zone.
The story begins when Ella gets off the plane with her family, She is nervous, scared, and unsure what this new country will be like. Fortunately, Ella embarks on a journey to discover this new place through a fun and inviting rhyming story.
